यद्वत्स्त्री मलिनाम्बरावृततनुर्बीभत्सरूपान्विता

विन्देद्दुःखम् अनाथवेश्मनि परं गर्भान्तरस्थे नृपे ।

तद्वत्क्लेशवशादशान्तमनसो दुःखालयस्था जनाः

सन्नाथेषु च सत्स्वनाथमतयः स्वात्मान्तरस्थेष्वपि ॥ १ । १२३ ॥

yadvat strī malināmbarāvṛtatanur bībhatsarūpānvitā

vinded duḥkham anāthaveśmani paraṃ garbhāntarasthe nṛpe |

tadvat kleśavaśād aśāntamanaso duḥkhālayasthā janāḥ

sannātheṣu ca satsv anāthamatayaḥ svātmāntarastheṣv api || 1.123 ||

Like a woman, her body draped in dirty clothes, with repellent form,

May experience great suffering in the dwelling for those with no protector, 

While there is a king placed in her womb,

Similarly, their minds not peaceful due to the afflictions, people placed in the abode of suffering,

And although the good protectors are placed within themselves, they think of themselves as without protector.
